EZG Sedimentary Rocks Book by Myrna Martin
Student and teacher friendly books
Our Ring of Fire Science books are easier to use than any other Earth Science program available. The Sedimentary Rocks book is designed for students who can read at a minimum 4th grade level.
Your students can work through this science book with minimal, to no help from you. This gives you time for other things you need to do in your busy life.
Each chapter in this books is about a specific topic related to sedimentary rocks. Your students will enjoy their science lessons because each chapter includes a science experiment.
Sample chapters
- Clastic Rocks form from broken piesces of older rocks
- Shallow and Deep-sea corals live in all the oceans.
- Limestone Caves are the most common caves on our planet.
Designed for all ages of students
If you are teaching a group with multiple ages and reading abilities you can have students work alone or together as they read the information in each chapter. Students can then do the experiments individually or together.
Sample experiments
- Creating a chicken bone mold
- Creating a sedimentary sandwich
- Creating sandstone
